a new site and a new look for ecoTheater

I’ve decided to move ecologue/ecotheater here to wordpress.com for a couple of reasons. First, it’s easier for me to update it. There also seems to be a better chance of being found here, since I’m not an expert in search engine manipulation (I hope google hasn’t tapped my blogue–they wouldn’t like that phrase).

wordpress.com also offers certain perks that I think will be an advantage, and why pretend that I’m not writing a blog, when, I guess, yes, okay, I am. So here I am. I hope I lure more unsuspecting readers.

You can check out any posts from my original ecoTheater page too, and I encourage you to do so. I will be reposting some topics here soon as well.

Enjoy.

what’s in a color?

"It should be about different kinds of symbols than the color green—wind farms, solar, renewable-energy laboratories, those things that are symbolic of the new energy economy. People think that we overuse the concept of green, and it could become trite in its expression.”
“This idea about green in a lot of people’s minds still conjures up this notion of a fringe or something that’s out-there. It doesn’t inspire this notion of a new America. It just seems more substantive than a color.” - Colorado governor Bill Ritter, Jr. in The New Yorker
